It was a beautiful room, and the people were great. We are planning to come back soon. Loved the pool. Before we came down to Tulum, our friends warned us how unsafe it could be. We found nothing but great and peaceful people. Enjoyable trip.
We picked Hotel Posada 06 because of the sweet pics on TripAdvisor (which live up to expectations), but when we arrived, it was even better than we thought. We splurged and got a top floor room with a private outdoor tub.
The rooms were spotless and had plenty of room to settle down in. The location is adjacent to the main street so it is a bit quieter but so close that you can walk the whole strip and the ADO bus stop isn’t far. The coffee every morning is delicious.
The best part of Hotel Posada 06 is the staff and their helmet diving in cozumel recommendations. Julio was welcoming, friendly, helpful, and attentive. The housekeeping staff did a great job, and the breakfast staff was friendly and ready to help.
This hotel is adorable and perfect for the price. There were 4 of us staying in one room. The AC worked wonderfully, and the front desk associate was kind and friendly. He recommended places to eat and hang out. We had a made to order breakfast in the morning that was delicious and fresh.
The beds are indeed rock hard, but after a long day of traveling, it was overlooked. The bathroom was clean, and the shower is big. It is all made of cement. The pool is tiny, and we used it to step in to cool off, but it’s also picture perfect! Overall, we would stay here again. We paid in cash upon arrival and had no issues. If you’re looking for a place that feels safe in the town area of Tulum, then stay here.
Our balcony wasn’t entirely private, so I tried the outdoor tub once, and it was ok – I think I would like a lounge chair in the space instead of the container. The bed is comfortable; there is a small fridge, smart tv, WiFi, hairdryer. There is a small pool, and we went to it once. There are bikes you can rent on-site, and we did that one day.
