I couldn’t have had a more accommodating experience, especially since I was a single female traveling alone. The couple who owns this gave perfect recommendations on places to go, the breakfast and lunch they offer is delicious, and you can tell they made it with love just like if your mother made it. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I could rent a bike to get around town easier.
The separate buildings were such cute bungalow/beach style, the room was always clean, the bed was super comfortable, and for being completely off the grid, they still provided A/C, so I was completely satisfied to sleep and get ready for the evening’s outings. I wish I were still there! I 100% recommend this place!
Las Palmas Maya is an excellent option for staying near the beach. Everything is super clean and very well maintained. The rooms are just the right level of rustic to make it feel like a real beach vacation, and I love the convenience of a shared kitchen and fridge! Tom is an amazing and dedicated host and was so helpful with his go flyboard cozumel tips during my stay. I highly recommend a visit here.
Tom and Malika are amazing hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and give us recommendations during our trip. The property is well taken care of and the communal kitchen is a really wonderful amenity to have while in Tulum.
My daughter and I had the best visit to Tulum. We planned to see Coba, Chichen Itza, Tulum ruins, swim in a cenote, and eat great Mexican food. Tom organized all of this for us! The hotel was air-conditioned at night, where we slept safe and super comfortable. The room was clean and fun, and breakfast out front by Malika was delicious.
We could walk to the beach (2 minutes) excellent shopping and great food experiences! I highly recommend Las Palmas Maya planning to enjoy Tulum.
Tom was the most accommodating person we’ve ever come across! He was an all-around hospitable person. He suggested terrific places to eat, showed us around and also told us the best excursions in the area! Tom made this experience an unforgettable one! We can’t wait to come back again one day!
